Notice for Check-out Procedure

2026 Spring Semester

1.    Residents who do not apply for Summer Stay should complete the check-out procedure (includes cleaning the room and clearing personal belongings from the room) before 12:00, June 29, 2026. (Please check HSD website for Summer Stay announcement.)

2.    The check-out service is only available between 09:00~12:00 and 13:00 ~ 17:00 on normal working days (Mon.- Fri.) and June 28, 2026 (Sun.) For those who plan to move out during weekends, please schedule check out time in advance.

3.    Residents who have to change rooms for Summer Stay should complete both check-in and check-out between June 29 – 12:00, July 1. Residents have to complete the procedure in the designated period.

4.    Any damaged or unclean items in the room will be photographed. The resident has to pay compensation based on the actual price of the damaged items or a clean-up fee of NT$2,000 in accordance with NCKU Student Housing Contract (Article 7 and Article 9, Item 3). If public facilities are damaged, all residents in the room have to share the compensation.

5.    According to NCKU Student Housing Contract (Article 8, Item 1) and NCKU Student Housing Contract (Article 9, Item 2), residents who failed to complete the check-out procedure within the designated period shall be given 5 to 8 violation points and shall be charged with a fee in the amount of a short-term accommodation fee increased by two times on a daily basis from the departure deadline to the day when the bedroom is restored to its original condition or when administers procedures for the eviction. After the notification deadline or the condition affects other people, the items left behind will be treated as waste and will be removed, and an additional cleaning fee of NT$2,000 will be charged.

6.    Please refer to the announcement “Schedules and Information for 2026 Spring Semester Check-Out & Summer Stay” in your own dormitory. For those who have any further inquiry or having difficulty cooperating with the designated date and the procedure, please contact resident counselor between June 15,2026 –June 18,2026. A processing fee of NTD 250 will be charged for late application.
