Accommodation Census Notice for the 102-2 Semester

1. The accommodation census of 102-2 semester is scheduled to be held from Feb. 17 to Mar. 1.  The exact date varies with dorms.  Please refer to the announcement in your building for detailed information.
2. Residents who have difficulty cooperating with their dormitory staff for the scheduled census shall report to their dormitory staff in advance.  Still, every resident shall take part in the census within the announced time.  Residents who fail to take part in or finish the census will be canceled of their residency.
3. Those who would like to cancel their accommodation should apply with the resident counselor of their buildings and complete check-out process.  By National Cheng Kung University Student Dormitory Regulations, those who apply to cancel their accommodation after the announced date for check-in would have their accommodation fee, including NT$ 250 handling fee and NT$ 200 for Internet service provided by Computer and Network Center, charged NT$ 130 per day till the date when the check-out process is completed, except for the causes of graduation, withdraw, suspension, or unexpected incidents.  Nevertheless, to lower the applicant’s economic burden, the rate of charge is adjusted as the following:
   • (1)    Apply and check out before Mar. 1, 2014: the accommodation fee, including NT$ 250 handling fee and NT$ 200 for Internet service provided by Computer and Network Center, shall be charged NT$ 130 per day starting from the date for check-in till the date when the check-out process is completed. The 102-2 semester check-in dates for residents of different sessions are as the following:
     • A.     Residents of both 2014 winter & 102-2 semester: Feb. 11
     • B.     Residents of 102-2 semester: Feb. 14
   • (2)    Apply and check out starting from Mar. 2, 2014: the accommodation fee, including NT$ 250 handling fee and NT$ 200 for Internet service provided by Computer and Network Center, should be charged on a weekly basis on the condition that the amount of weekly charge exceeds the amount which is billed till Mar. 1, 2014 at the rate of NT$ 130 per day.

 
Those who fail to finish the census will be regarded as giving up their accommodation and the paid dorm fee should not be refund.  If the bill hasn’t been paid, the student’s leaving school process will be locked until the bill is paid and the check-out process completed.
