Annoucement Notice for Check-out Procedure 2021 Spring Semester (Updated on 6/7)

Aim: According to the raising of epidemic warning level, the deadline for the check-out is extended to July 3, 2021 (Sat.) 15:00. Residents who do not apply for summer stay have to make an appointment for the check-out.

Explanations:

  • 1.    According to the government epidemic prevention strategies to avoid crowding and minimize the risk of infection, students with on-campus accommodation in the 110th Academic Year are advised to apply for a summer stay. Students who planned to stay off-campus are advised to move out by using a delivery service (post office, cargo, etc.) or calling a taxi. Parents are advised not to come to the university by inter-district travel to avoid crowding and minimize the risk of infections.    
  • 2.    Students who are not planning to stay in the summer will need to make an appointment for the check-out procedure, and the deadline for the check-out is extended to July 3, 2021 (Sat.) 15:00. URL to the appointment system of each dormitory: http://tinyurl.com/2u5vy9mf
  • 3.    Students may make an appointment for the check-out on office hours. There will be only one weekend day on July 3 (Sat.) 0900-12:00; 13:00-15:00 is available for check-out application. Student who need to move out on weekend is advised to make the appointment earlier. In accordance to Labor Standards Law, the weekend working day in the precious plan on June 27 is cancelled.  
  • 4.    Students who currently are not in Tainan may apply for an extension of the check-out deadline. The deadline can only be extended until 10 days (12:00 noon) after Taiwan Central Epidemic Command Cente call off the grade 3 alert.   • 5.    Please refer to the notices for further information about the check-out procedure of 2021 Spring Semester in each dormitory. If there is any question or difficulty, please contact the dormitory staff.  
  • 6.    As there is access control in the university since May 19, visitors and cars without a permit are prohibited. Please refer to attachments 1 to 3 for guidance. Although the trolley in the dormitory is available, students are strongly recommended to prepare their personal trolleys to avoid the risk of contact.  
  • 7.    According to NCKU Housing Contract (Article 8), students who fail to complete the check-out procedure within the designated period shall receive between five to eight violation points. By NCKU Student Dormitory Regulations (Article 10.1), when there is damage or mess in the room confirmed by the dormitory staff, a compensation fee or a cleanup fee of NT$ 1000 will be charged.  
  • 8.    As the epidemic situation in the future is unpredictable, please stay tuned for any updates from Housing Service Division.
